The Academy of Musical Theatre is an independently owned performing arts school for children aged 3 to 18 years old. At AMT we deliver dance and performance arts training whilst building confidence and life skills in a fun environment. The Academy of Musical Theatre is perfect for initial training for a future career in the arts or just for fun.

Our School

Run by local, professionally trained teachers, The Academy of Musical Theatre provides fun filled classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern and Musical Theatre for all abilities, each Saturday during term time. The safety of our students, both physically and mentally, is of paramount importance and as such all our tutors have an enhanced CRB check.

Nationally Recognised Syllabus

We study ISTD - a nationally recognised syllabus in ballet, tap and modern.

Public Performances

We perform two professionally produced, fully costumed musical theatre productions annually at a theatre on the South coast.
